Galen D. Young: President
Galen Young has 40 years of experience in site-work and utility construction. His superior level of expertise has guided the continual growth of Woodford Excavation & Transport Inc., you now see today. Galen oversees all business operations from construction to final.
Robert (Ted) Thompson Chief Financial Officer
Ted Thompson brings 38 years of financial management/ customer service to the Woodford Excavation team. He is responsible for the overall management of the accounting department. His duties include bond procurement, short and long term financial planning for Woodford Excavation. He is a graduate of Transylvania University.
Justin C. Lucas: Vice President
As Vice President, Justin's responsibilities are to oversee construction activities, estimating and project management for all projects. Justin's duties include reviewing contracts, project scheduling, design/build services, estimating, and accounts receivable using AIA standard documents. He brings over 15 years of experience in the site-work and utility construction industry and also grew up in the company as his father has been the lead mechanic for over 30 years.
Kristi Eden: Safety Director
As a Certified Outreach OSHA Trainer, she trains and issues 10 and 30 hour employee OSHA certifications, drug screening and OSHA compliance. She also is a certified equipment trainer.
Primary Field Superintendents
Dwain Wallace: General Superintendent
Experience in concrete, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, waterline, asphalt, earth work, and erosion control construction. Dwain has over 30 years experience.
Mark Yates: General/Utility Superintendent
Experience in concrete, high/low pressure gas main, storm sewer, waterline, asphalt, earth work, and erosion control construction. Mark has over 30 years experience.
Shane Trent: Earthwork Superintendent
Experience in erosion control, earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and storm sewer construction. Shane has over 15 years experience.
Graham Young: Earthwork Superintendent
Experience in erosion control, earthwork and storm sewer construction. As Galen's son, he has been running equipment since his feet could touch the pedals.
Brian Brown Earthwork Superintendent
Experience in erosion control, earthwork, concrete, asphalt,and storm sewer. Brian Has 15 years experience.
Jimmy Mcintosh: Earthwork Superintendent
Experienced in erosion control, earthwork, storm and sanitary sewer. Jimmy has 15 years experience.
Brian Milner: Site Superintendent
Experienced in earthwork, strom and sanitary sewer, solid rock removal. Brian has 20 years experience.
